Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Hi there, I’m Cristin. Settler Canadian, facilitator, community builder, and founder of Birch + Bloom.
I’ve always been drawn to spaces that honour our full humanity. Places where we can move through hard things together, reconnect with what matters, and imagine new ways of being in relationship with ourselves, each other, and the land.
That is what Birch + Bloom exists to create.
Birch + Bloom is a living practice rooted in deep listening, collective wisdom, and human centered ways of navigating the complex times we are living in. Because how we gather shapes how we live, lead, and care for one another.
For more than twenty years, I have worked across sectors helping individuals, organizations, and communities navigate complexity, uncertainty, and transition. I have led large scale initiatives, facilitated transformative dialogue, and built teams and programs rooted in belonging, care, and community connection.
This work is both professional and deeply personal.
Birch + Bloom grew from my own lived experience of grief, reinvention, and the long journey of remembering what truly matters. It is my response to what I believe this moment in the world is asking of us: thoughtful spaces for reflection, presence, and collective imagination. Not quick solutions or top down answers, but processes that move at the speed of trust.
My practice is shaped by decades of work inside complex systems and by seasons of personal transformation. I bring formal training in communications, peace and conflict studies, civic dialogue and engagement, and embodiment coaching, woven together with years of leadership, facilitation, and community engagement experience.
This layered background, both lived and learned, allows me to hold spaces that are strategic, creative, relational, and deeply attuned to the human experience.
If you are seeking a partner in relational gatherings, leadership design, or retreat facilitation, I would love to connect.
