We foster belonging and community through gatherings rooted in relationship with ourselves, with the land, and with each other.
Our Roots
We are deeply shaped by our home in Northern Ontario, on land cared for by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples since time immemorial. Their stewardship and respect for the natural world remind us that a reciprocal relationship with land and each other is essential to a meaningful life.
Our work is grounded in the belief that real change happens over time, in community, and through intentional practice. We don’t offer quick fixes or universal answers. Instead, we hold immersive, thoughtful spaces where people can pause, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with more alignment.
At the heart of Birch + Bloom is the Birch Circle—a cyclical, nature-based framework that guides how we design and hold space. It shapes everything we offer: retreats, workshops, peer circles, and community gatherings. Developed through decades of facilitation and Cristin’s own lived experience of navigating change, the Birch Circle invites a relational, seasonal way of moving through transition. It informs how we listen, how we gather, and how we support people through whatever season they’re in.
What We Believe In
Belonging and connection are essential.
We hold space for people to feel seen, heard, and supported without pressure or performance. Every offering is designed to foster meaningful dialogue and genuine community.
Nature is our teacher.
The land guides how we work through rhythm, reciprocity, and presence. We respect and honour Indigenous stewardship and aim to move in ways that are grounded, respectful, and sustainable.
Creativity opens new pathways.
We use creative tools to support expression, reflection, and insight, especially when words fall short.
Transformation is relational.
Whether personal or community-based, change happens through connection. We support gradual, lasting shifts that honour the whole person and the web of relationships they live within.
